Cathy is the best! She's super knowledgable about chocolate, the lesson is fun and friendly, the pieces you make are DELICIOUS, and the location is right in the center of Brussels - so easy to find and get to. I had a one on one with her, and it was absolutely delightful. A great way to learn about the amazing world of chocolate, since you're surrounded by it everywhere in the city. Go for it!

A Real Journey
Cathy really does take you on a journey with each tasting. She educates you about the chocolate making process and really helps you to understand the flavors and what goes into each piece of chocolate that you taste. She was also able to share some fun and interesting facts about the city as well. Definitely recommend this tour!

Great experience and value for money
I attended a chocolate making class last week. Cathy was lovely to work with and I found the whole experience awesome. Total plus was the yummy chocolate I got to take home!!

Passionate about Chocolate
Cathy, a passionate chocoholic born and raised in New York of Chinese parents, discovered gourmet chocolate when apprenticing at Frederic Cassel, President of the prestigious Relais Desserts. Not only did she learn to taste and make delicious chocolate there, she went on to become Chief Chocolate Strategist at Rococo Chocolates in London, then Western European Brand Manager for the B2B blockbuster brand Callebaut, and most recently held a marketing Directorship at Pierre Marcolini, among the best chocolatiers in Belgium and in the world, according to gourmet connoisseurs.
Brimming with chocolate passion, Cathy recently decided to embark on a new journey — by taking visitors like you on Cocoa Journey, a chocolate adventure through Brussels, where you can discover and taste some of the world’s best chocolate, and even make chocolate yourselves!
On the side, Cathy professionally tastes chocolate from around the world as a Judge for the Academy of Chocolate Awards, one of the world's most prestigious fine chocolate awards!
